  2. Gender
  3. Please indicate your choice of pronouns:
  1. UPOP requires participation in a weeklong, 40-hour course (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) over IAP. Please choose the week that works best for you, to the best of your knowledge at this time. (You can talk to a staff member if you need to change this later.)

  2. Priority is given to students who are able to make a strong commitment to attending one of the weeklong workshops over IAP. Please indicate your commitment level at this time:

  3. If you have other plans or activities you are considering, please list them here and explain how you plan to fit UPOP in.

Note: There is an alternative workshop held over Presidents’ Day weekend, Feb 17-19, 2018 for students participating in select programs that keep them away from MIT over IAP, but which supplement UPOP learning objectives. Students must get approval from UPOP staff to participate in this workshop.

  1. What ideas do you have for your summer experience? You can share any ideas you have from specific companies to geographical location to industry to research, etc.

  2. What are you hoping to get out of UPOP?

  1. Tell us a little bit about yourself (check all that apply)
  1. How did you hear about UPOP? (check all that apply)

After you submit your application, you will receive an email asking you to upload a photo and a PDF of your resume (Note: your resume does not need to be perfect—we’ll help you get it there). You will need to do this to complete your application for UPOP.

*Clicking submit means that you understand that your attendance throughout the weeklong workshop over IAP, or the approved, alternative Presidents’ Day weekend workshop, is a requirement for the program.
